We had a good time staying at Joost's place. It was clean, modern and a great space to hang out with friends. Joost was so generous with the food and wine that he set us up with, we barely bought anything to supplement our 4 night stay. The apt location is convenient and you can walk / tram around easily. The bedrooms are small and we had to leave our suitcases out in the living room as a result, but the beds were comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were also very dimly lit and that caused some interesting challenges with 6 girls trying to put on their makeup! But otherwise it was a great stay - when we encountered some difficulties with the thermostat, door lock, finding the external trash receptacle etc, Joost was always quick to respond and help us resolve our issue. A big thanks to Joost for a wonderful stay in Amsterdam!

The neighborhood is great. Lots of food in the area and a large supermarket, as well as smaller markets. You can rent bikes across the street. We were there with kids and it was great for them too. The owner, Joost, was a pleasure to deal with and made everything very easy. He generously provided a beautiful assortment of food and drink on arrival. I also give him bonus points for his cheerful response and immediate repair when I accidentally burned out an electric outlet. The apartment itself has a nice kitchen, internet, TV and Netflix. The kitchen/dining area is large and cheery (note there is no microwave as of our visit). I should mention that there are a couple of things that could be improved... most notably, the two shower areas are both poorly designed, creating floods of water that, appropriately, you will need to channel with a system of towel canals. There are also no shelves or hooks near the showers, so in general the bathrooms could use some design improvements. There is a huge and top quality bathtub, though. The bedding was very comfortable. It's a tight fit for sleeping if you have six people... two of the bedrooms are quite small to fit two people plus luggage. Overall a great experience and highly recommended.

Joost and family were most accommodating to our group. It's a beautiful home perfectly located minutes walk from Vondelpark and about 10min to center of town. The fridge was full of beers and wines and the rooms were very spacious with great modern bathrooms.

Beautiful apartment in an excellent location. Clean, spacious, fully equipment and comfortable. We were pampered with groceries and alcohol. Very kind hosts! We had perfect new year weekend and have been very happy with everything.

Wrapping up our stay in this apartment tonight. We have not been to Amsterdam before but Jurjen & his team made our stay easy and stress-free. They will arrange transportation for free to/from Schiphol or the train. The driver was very nice and dropped us at the front door. Rhinja, our hostess, was there to meet us. She showed us the apartment and features and explained the procedure to check out. Easy walking distance to pretty much anywhere you'd want to go. About 30 minutes walk to the museums. We took Uber there (about 7 euro) and walked back. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Pub on the corner. Grocery store is 5 minutes walk. It is city living, so expect a little noise but nothing major. One note of caution: the steps downstairs to the master suite are quite small as you might expect in a city home. We had no problem whatsoever, but if you were disabled or had trouble with stairs this might be a problem. Of course there is a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor as well. Jurjen was very fast to reply to emails and gave us his cell phone for any issues (of which there were none). I highly recommend this rental. When we return to Amsterdam we will stay here again.

A perfect place to stay in Amsterdam. Very spacious fully equipped duplex at a appropriate distance from the Centre. We had a very fun and comfortable stay here. Host was very helpful in assisting on things. Would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed with my 17-year-old daughter and we both loved it. It's right off one of the canals on a small street in a great neighborhood. I was so glad we did not choose one of the tourist areas! During the day it is busy and at night quite quiet, so sleeping was peaceful. The beds were very comfortable with fresh sheets and cozy duvet. There was a rain shower in both bathrooms and all the conveniences of home! I highly recommend anyone thinking about it to book your stay.

Absolutely stunning home right in the heart of Amsterdam. Walking distance to lots including the beautiful vondel park which we spent a lot of time just strolling around. And there's a tram right outside your front door to get to the rest of the city. Highly recommended!

This is a great location to all that Amsterdam offers. It offers a terrific neighborhood feel and is just steps from a variety of shopping and dining options. The apt is modern and well done in current colors and fits the design aesthetic of NL very well.

This property is smack in the dab of the Jordan district of Amsterdam. At the same time it's quiet and secluded. Easy access to great neighborhood bistros Restaurants, shopping. Loaded with history I would highly recommend the property to anyone traveling in Amsterdam It's clean efficient just what you want for a long stay

This 2 bedroom, 2 level apartment located in in the very convenient Jordaan neighborhood of Amsterdam worked beautifully for our family of four. Each bedroom had its own washroom and each bedroom was located on a different floor allowing everyone plenty of room to spread out and relax at the end of the day. Communication was easy and we appreciated the transportation to and from the airport. We all enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again should we be lucky enough to visit Amsterdam again. This is a very comfortable apartment in a great location. Neighborhood feel, tons of good restaurants and pubs very near by. We walked, called uber and hoped on public transportation to get around, very convenient. The owner was great to work with throughout the process. Two beds, two baths, nice living room and kitchen. Everything you need. Second bedroom is downstairs. Only caution is that room would not work for the elderly, as the stairs are quite narrow. But staying upstairs on the main floor is great.
