Description
Just one step away from the hustle in Amsterdam’s beautiful Jordaan, on a quiet canal, you’ll love this gorgeous four-story 4+ bedroom single family home. Built in the 17th century, this house has been carefully restored and modernised featuring large living spaces as well as an outdoor-terrace to enjoy an evening meal or lounge in the sun. A truly inviting vacation home close to Anne Frank House, Museums, De 9 Straatjes. Our place is good for couples, business travelers, families (with kids).
As you enter the home you’ll immediately appreciate the cozy old feel with the modern finishes, as well as the light living spaces. Straight ahead you can choose to go four steps down to the kitchen and large living/dining room. There is a fully equipped kitchen and dining table to host your family meals. In this room we offer a 40” TV with Playstation-3 and games. Adjacent to this room you have access to a private terrace which faces the South and is fully secluded. There is a half-bath on this floor and access to a cellar with washer/dryer.
Up a flight of stairs you have a family room with a cozy sofa for TV watching (36" TV with Apple TV/Netflix) and a table for playing games or drawing…
Proceed up to the 2nd and 3rd level and you’ll enter the sleeping floors. The front of the house hosts the larger bedrooms with king-size beds and a TV each. There is a modern bathroom on each floor, one with a walk-in shower and one with a bath/shower. The rear of the house offers smaller ‘childrens’ bedrooms with bunkbeds and plenty of toys to play with.
Additional amenities include a washer/dryer in the basement, toys, games, outdoor toys, scooters and more. Luxury linens and toiletries, hair dryers and more are also included. Parking on the street at a daily rate is available, but expensive. We can arrange to stock the fridge for your arrival upon request as well.
We have two adult bikes (one is a cargo bike) available for you to use - then you can travel like a real Amsterdammer! Two kids bikes also available. Additional bikes can be rented nearby.

23 May 2019Great apartment with everything needed for week long stay. Good location with shops & cafes close by. Walking distance to most things but tram also at the end of the street. Quiet area, spacious enough for all 3 of us & great communication. Only issue I had was that the bed is too soft for me.
11 Mar 2019We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment.Very well located,we were able to walk every where.Very easy to get to and from Central Station.We would come back anytime and would recommend to friends.We were able to drop off our bags earlier.The owner leaves on premise very convenient and provide very good customer service.
30 Jan 2019The host was very kind and even acknowledged that the cleaning staff didn’t set the place right and made efforts to adjust this for future guests. Small apartment but it works well. The street was decently quiet and very close to a canal. Short walk to center. Overall really nice stay
